Academic Standards and Team Expectations

Team,

It has come to my attention that a few players are not being academically responsible.

Important reminders:

• Do not leave Seaforth's campus illegally.
• If you're enrolled in a CCCC class and have a grade below 75, you must attend class at Seaforth (not off-campus).
• Failing to follow school rules or falling behind academically will impact your eligibility.

Bottom line: If your grades don’t meet the minimum requirements and you're not in good standing, you will not be eligible to participate with the team. This means you won’t be allowed to join open gyms, breakfast clubs, clinics, practices, or games. Once you're passing all of your classes, provide the necessary documentation to the coach, and you will be eligible to resume participation.

Our goal isn’t just to meet the minimum academic requirements but to excel in all classes with A's and B's.

Let’s make sure this doesn’t happen again. Step up and be great, both on the court and in the classroom!

P.S. Moving forward, morning basketball sessions will end promptly at 7:30am. Everyone must be on time for class - no exceptions!
